Overview
What this product does
NovaGrip WS™ uses an arctic silica compound that keeps its elasticity below freezing, when an all-season tread has already gone hard and slid. The directional pattern drives slush out from under the footprint, and dense 3D siping with micro-pumps slices the water film that forms between rubber and ice.
Snow-on-snow traction does the rest: the tread is designed to hold packed snow in its grooves, because snow grips snow far better than rubber does. Where conditions justify it, selected sizes arrive pre-drilled for studs, and the tire carries the 3PMSF severe-snow mark.
